I've never once thought you came off as a narcissist. I've always been fascinated in the little tidbits about your life, mostly because it's so different than anything I've ever known.

To the point about AMAs — I think it'd be great if you kept doing them post UW. They're a great place to hear your perspective on more general life things. For instance, I still think about your answer to a question about regrets last year and your aversion to dancing. I thought that was fascinating and an example of your unique viewpoint, which to me is part of UW's great appeal.

Your AMAs are always interesting, but this one may be the best. Great stuff!

I hope the AMAs continue on the new Substack as well. They're always a very enjoyable read.

I feel the same as others about you sharing your personal life. As someone who is similarly open about such things, I find it is often less awkward to just address such things head-on rather than skirt around them. A great example would be the lovely E, who started off as "a friend", and is now clearly more than that. She was introduced gracefully and it never felt anywhere close to narcissistic.

It's surprisingly tough to find a bicycle helmet that both offers good protection, and looks nicer for casual & utilitarian everyday commuting vs. a sleek, road racing geared helmet. Virginia Tech tests and rates hundreds of helmets here, which I found to be a great resource: https://www.helmet.beam.vt.edu/bicycle-helmet-ratings.html

Of course the actual solution involves building world-class bicycle, pedestrian, and transit infrastructure everywhere and freeing ourselves from the tyrrany of the automobile...but I'm not holding my breath on that happening anytime soon in the U.S.

I'm glad I found this because I wondered what was going to happen with uni-watch. I'm also trying to rank uniforms too, and I'm trying to rank every MLB uniform by color. Here's part one: The home whites

Please do one more AMA before you hang up the uniform! There are still so many questions out there!

"I know of several top-level pro teams that rejected radical redesign ideas that were presented to them over the past decade or so."

- Paul, any chance before your Uni Watch reign is over that you'll share some of the "radical redesign ideas" that never made it to the field/court?
