Another awesome AMA, Paul! Some comments:

•How did i not know about the Uni-Watch band merch? Those are great, gonna have to pick several of them up! I love a good crossover.

•I also enjoy the "What Paul did..." segment!

•I have a very similar response to iPhone notifications as you- they definitely do their job in alerting me that something needs to be done! The screenshots of people with four- and even five-digit email inboxes make my teeth itch.

I'm used to them now, but as a diehard Dodger fan it broke my heart when they eliminated the white trim in 2007. I always thought the white trim looked so "classy" whereas the jerseys looked "cheap" without it. I wouldn't be mad if they switched it back but I know that ship has sailed.

Hello Paul, your writing is a gift that brings me so much joy!

I wanted to comment on the Detroit Lions Ford Field. As someone who grew up just outside of Detroit I felt that you nailed it on the head. I always thought watching home games were bleak, a little less dreary and shadowy at the silverdome, but still very unpleasant. I would get more excited when the Lions would play at soldier field or lambeau as the colors seemed to pop and also be perceived as a quintessential Midwest football game. The ambiance of Comerica Park during a postseason run was always astonishingly beautiful and the elements were gorgeously on display. Also as a Michigander, one of the most aesthetically pleasing game's is always played at the end of November for the Land Grant Trophy. Two turf schools who embrace the elements. The Detroit Lions could have this! Thanks again Paul.

I'm glad there are a couple of you out there getting behind calling that Rays uniform something else! My nomination would be "close back" to keep the same vowel sound as "throwback" and "fauxback", but if "toss back" is the consensus I'm just happy to have a term for the "not-a-throwback" uniform that they wear.
